The Gold Cup takes centre stage on the final day of the festival and we should be in for a thriller. Kauto Star has come back to his imperious best and his fifth King George win at Kempton on Boxing Day saw his name go into the record books. A previous dual winner, he is the only horse to regain a Gold Cup. He will not have it his own way however as he will be opposed by last year’s winner Long Run and possibly the exciting novice Grands Crus.
